The Westfield City Council consists of seven members who serve as the legislative branch of the City of Westfield. The members are elected by voters and each member serves a four-year term. The city council meets on the second and fourth Monday of each month at 7:00 p.m. Meetings are open to the public, and held in City Hall, located at 130 Penn Street.

The Clerk-Treasurer is responsible for the overall collection and disbursement of funds, the administration of the accounting system, the signing of checks, the preparation of periodic reports to the council, and serves as the investment officer for the municipal treasury.

Westfield's elected administration comprises the Mayor's Office, Clerk-Treasurer's Office, and seven City Councilors.

The department is responsible for facilitating the vision of the City of Westfield's Comprehensive Plan. The department provides planning and community development services.

The City of Westfield is an all career Fire Department within Hamilton County. The department is staffed with paramedics and EMT's to provide the highest level of emergency medical care to the citizens of Westfield, in addition to fire suppression and rescue services.

The City Attorney is the head of the Legal Department and is appointed by Mayor Scott Willis.

Westfield Parks and Recreation is dedicated to providing the opportunity for all community residents to enjoy safe, affordable, and well-maintained recreational facilities and a variety of quality leisure activities.

The Westfield Police Department provides 24-hour emergency response and coordinates various public safety programs.

The department is responsible for coordinating and managing all public works including engineering, streets, and stormwater.

Westfield Welcome focuses on community engagement and hospitality for residents, businesses, and visitors. Westfield Welcome hosts more than 35 annual events and provides hundreds of volunteer opportunities each year.
